Tips for practicing:
Tips for practicing:
- Follow your music with your finger in your music as you sing with the recording. Keep track of where you are in the music.
- If you make a mistake in the same spot more than two times, use a pencil to circle that part. Practice the circled section slowly. Once you can sing it three times in a row without making a mistake, back up and practice the entire song.
- If you know your part well, try singing it with the other part! If you get lost, go back to singing your own part until you are comfortable with it.
- Try singing your part without looking at the music (but keep your music close). See how much you have memorized (It is alright to look at your music! Learning a section incorrectly will be harder to fix. So go back to Tip 2 and keep practicing!).
